Jucy

Jan. 18, 2015 - current

After working in small and medium startups which teams were composed of 100% developers, db0 realized that it was hard to get users to report problems and share suggestions on the standard bug trackers that development teams use. For large companies, this is not a problem because they provide a customer service that will take care of that communication and relay the information to the developers. After adding custom made widgets to allow users to create issues without creating a GitHub account for different projects, db0 decided to provide a better, generic and easy-to-use solution for all developers, and that's how Jucy was born! ##### Components - A web dashboard for developers - A web widget where users can vote for suggestions and problems that they think should be a priority and submit new ideas and problems - A Google Chrome extension that allows developers to interact with their users from the GitHub interface - GitHub and Git hooks to handle users interactions with commands in commit messages and emails Jucy has been made with Django in Python and massively relies on the GitHub API not only to get data but also save data. As of today, it's still a work in progress and it's not ready to be used in a production environment yet.
